Precision Mounting
Mounting is the process of converting paper prints into finished displays that are ready to hang. It is great for display graphics, signs and posters. We can mount onto various materials including 1mm card, 3mm Foamex and 5mm foam core board, clear perspex and acrylic. Mounting on card has been a common practice for framing prints for centuries, but modern materials such as Foamex, also known as PVC board, are light yet very strong and durable and perfect for in-store environments.
Encapsulation
Encapsulation is the process by which a printed paper or board being covered and sealed with a tough plastic film. This gives the item a professional appearance and strengthens the item, which may improve its useful life. An overlap is left around the edge in order to get a seal that is waterproof, which prevents moisture, dirt etc. from being able to penetrate. The film is joined to the surface of the item so this overlap can be trimmed off if required. Encapsulation is commonly used for display graphics, maps, ID badges, banners and more.
