The thermography printing process today uses traditional printing methods coupled with thermography machines. From business cards to letterheads, It is a great way to deliver your message and add that little touch of class to any print. This is a very cost effective way to add a raised gloss print and is created by passing your print through a powder and heating process.
Typically, thermography machines are made of three sections connected by a conveyor. The first section applies thermographic powder to the substrate, and slow drying pigment inks that doesn’t contain dryers or hardeners are printed on areas selected for raised printing so that they remain wet when the powder is applied to it. The heating process later on will eventually dry and harden this ink.
We can print onto 100gsm paper through to a 600gsm card, which means that this thermography process can be used on the following items:
- Compliment Slips
- Business Cards
